Retrofitting an old Moovi without road approval

Unfortunately, due to several factors, it is not possible to retrofit the Moovi.

We had to explicitly register the new road-legal model as a vehicle manufacturer and conduct numerous tests and modifications, such as correctly attaching the insurance license plate. Among other things, an additional brake had to be installed and the reflectors had to be replaced with certified cat's eyes. Furthermore, the scooter had to be sealed, as we, as the vehicle manufacturer, had to ensure that the Moovi is tamper-proof.

For the reasons mentioned above, the Moovi without StVO is unfortunately not retrofittable.

As a sustainable company, it's important to us that we offer our customers who have previously chosen a Moovi the opportunity to send in their old scooters. The scooters sent in are either refurbished and donated to charitable organizations or recovered and recycled by our technical support team.
