Why is the motor power lower than that of other e-scooters? Is it sufficient?
In terms of efficiency, optimal coordination of the motor, battery, and energy management is very important. When developing the Moovis and its motor, we asked ourselves what the main objectives were, given the given legal and usage-related requirements.
95% of all scooter users have never traveled more than 10 km in one go. So why install a battery that's far too heavy for a 60 km range? This makes no sense due to weight and cost reasons, as well as the excessive resource consumption. The Moovi is designed for micro-movement, the so-called "last mile." It's small and light, making it easy to take on buses and trains. This is especially important for commuters who have to travel several kilometers to the train station and then to work. Anyone who has to travel more than 10 km to work should consider another mode of transportation, such as an e-bike.
