Manufacturer warranty

Our products undergo extensive quality control before shipping. Should a defect occur due to a manufacturing error, this is subject to our one-year guarantee or the two-year statutory warranty.

Warranty conditions:

The manufacturer Kaufmann Sortimentsgroßhandel GmbH grants a one-year warranty on the product advertised with the warranty promise. The warranty period begins on the invoice date. The geographical scope of the manufacturer's warranty extends to the Federal Republic of Germany. Should any material or manufacturing defects occur in the goods you have purchased during this period, the manufacturer, as the guarantor, will grant you one of the following services at its discretion within the scope of this guarantee:

  • Free repair of the goods or
  • Free exchange of the goods for an equivalent item
 

The guarantor may refuse the type of subsequent performance chosen by the buyer – such as the delivery of new goods – if it causes disproportionate costs compared to the other type – repair.

Warranty claims are excluded in the event of damage to the goods caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper or abusive treatment
  • Failure to observe any safety precautions
  • Use of the product for other purposes, such as high risk performance
  • Use of violence (e.g. beatings)
  • Traffic accidents or other collision damage
  • Seals are damaged
  • Attempts to repair on your own
  • Environmental influences (heat, humidity, etc.)
Warranty services are also excluded for normal wear and tear on wearing parts such as: tires, brakes/brake pads, Bowden cables, handlebar grips, hoses/tubing, bell, lighting, stands, license plate holders, etc.

The prerequisite for claiming the warranty is the prior notification of the warranty claim via our contact form or by email to: support@moovi.de and the opportunity for the guarantor to verify the warranty claim (e.g., by sending the goods in). Care must be taken to prevent damage to the goods during transport by securely packaging them. For this reason, we insist on shipping them in the original box or a box provided by us. When registering for a warranty claim, a copy of the invoice must be submitted so that the guarantor can verify whether the warranty period has been met. Without a copy of the invoice, the guarantor may refuse to provide warranty service. You must also provide the name and address of the seller if this information is not available on the copy of the invoice. If the serial number is different, the warranty may also be rejected.

In the case of justified warranty claims, the warranty processing will always be carried out freight-free for you, i.e. the guarantor will reimburse any shipping costs for the outward shipment.

If our technical team determines that the warranty does not apply due to one of the above-mentioned reasons, we will have to charge you €50 (including 19% VAT) for the inspection and return shipping costs.

Of course, our technical team can give you a quote for repairing your device.

Important NOTEThis manufacturer's warranty does not limit your statutory rights in the event of defects, and you may exercise it free of charge. Any existing statutory warranty rights against us remain unaffected by this warranty. This manufacturer's warranty therefore does not infringe your statutory rights; rather, it expands your legal position.

If the purchased item is defective, you can always contact us within the scope of the statutory warranty, regardless of whether a warranty claim exists or the warranty is being claimed.
